Docly announces new partnership with SYNLAB
May 14, 2020
UK & Ireland employers and employees are set to benefit from joined-up testing and healthcare provision through a partnership between SYNLAB UK & Ireland and pioneering UK and Sweden based digital healthcare platform Docly.
The partnership sees medical laboratory services provider SYNLAB UK & Ireland join forces with digital care provider Docly to offer a range of clinically led healthcare services - from diagnostic testing through to clinical support and follow up care - to a range of companies.
SYNLAB’s customers can now benefit from pathology services supported by Docly’s online clinical workforce to remotely guide employees safely and securely through the testing process as needed, as well as offering follow-up care.
SYNLAB provides laboratory, diagnostic and advisory services to a diverse range of sectors, from healthcare, wellness and veterinary, to food, family law and transport. The partnership with Docly means SYNLAB can also offer clinical oversight on a range of tests where samples are collected away from a typical clinical environment.
Commenting on the announcement, Barnaby Poulton, Managing Director of Docly UK, said:
“We’re delighted to be collaborating with SYNLAB. Working together in partnership, we are able to offer SYNLAB customers the possibility of healthcare tests and services supported remotely and safely by our clinicians. This service will be highly valuable as companies make greater efforts to support and sustain their workforce in the future.”
Arnaud Gueny, CEO of SYNLAB UK & Ireland, added:
“I am pleased that Docly will be working with SYNLAB as our preferred partner in delivering remote clinical services. The partnership with Docly will enable SYNLAB to enhance its offering to our clients and deliver end-to-end care. The aim of the partnership is to bring complementary services together and provide service integration for the benefit of employees as part of an enhanced health and well-being package of care.”
